About The Event
Somerset Recovery Organization is a federal nonprofit dedicated to providing support services to women who are survivors of trauma, addiction, and abuse. Over the past 5 years, Somerset has been facilitating recovery retreats for all self identified women with a holistic approach to healing. Creating a safer, affirming space for women who have struggled with drug and alcohol addiction, physical and domestic abuse, sexual assault, sexual abuse, human trafficking, emotional and psychological abuse.
Your support will directly contribute to:
Providing a safe and supportive residential treatment program “The Spirit of Hope” Women’s Recovery Retreat.
Enabling women to access addiction recovery services. Facilitating trauma-informed counselling, trauma embodiment/somatic work.
Increasing the overall well-being and self-sufficiency of survivors. Reducing the risk of re-victimization and relapse.
