A home destroyed by Hurricane Sandy has been rebuilt above the floodplain, providing mitigation against future flooding and helping a resident recovery from Superstorm Sandy.
Ground was broken on the construction of two new homes by the SCLTRC on June 3, 2013 through partnerships with Mennonite Disaster Response, Episcopal Relief and Development, Lutheran Disaster Response, and the American Red Cross.
